I cannot believe that we have already started another year. It’s amazing how fast life seems to fly. I took out my SEO tools and did a simple search on making money online in 2018 and learned that there are thousands of people searching for those answers.
A couple of years back that was me. I made a decision that I wasn’t going to be dependant on a single income. So I began searching the internet high and low looking for a way that I could make some extra money.
Making money online is easy! There are hundreds of websites that will pay you to watch videos, fill-out surveys and buy and test products.
Scam Alert
Anytime you see something that’s too good to be true – it’s probably a scam.
If someone tells you that you can make money online without any investment of time or money – it’s a scam! Like any legitimate business, it requires effort to reap the rewards.
Here are the ways that I began to make money online.
I did some surveys to earn a little cash.
My sister told me about this method, and so I gave it a try. There are a lot of survey type websites out there and you can make a little bit of money using them. The Problem? Websites like swagbucks.com or opinionoutpost.com will suck up a lot of your time, and give you little return for the time you invested.
Can you imagine spending hours of time importing survey answers and only getting $1? LOL. It’s easy to think of it as FREE money, but your time must be worth more than $1, right?
Plus, there are a lot of scams out there that try to take advantage of people like us hoping to make a buck online.
Be Careful
1. Don’t pay money to take any survey, even if a site promises you that you’re going to make a lot of money.2. Scammers will often tell you that they are not scammers! You have to do your research before joining. I suggest that you check them out on scam.com or ripoffreport.com before going anything further.3. Trust your instinct. If they sound too good to be true, then they’re probably a scam.
You can make money by selling digital products such as your photos or graphic designs
Photography sites like istockphoto.com or sites like videohive.net and photodune.net are a great way to sell images, designs, videos and plugins online. You can do very well with these sites if you have the ability to create high-quality content.
You can work as a freelancer and sell your services to websites like upwork.com or fiverr.com.
All of these methods are real and legitimate ways of making money on the internet, but they have their limitations. What are these limitations? Either they don’t make a lot of money, or they are for only for a specific population. Not everyone takes photos or is a graphic designer.
My “Lightbulb” Moment
What is the hot topic for making money in 2018? How can everyone reap from an industry that has paid out billions of dollars in revenue in 2017 and is growing every day?
It’s called affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is selling another companies products or services and earning a commission when someone buys that companies product through your efforts.
